Dr Monica Chogle's private practice is based at:

She sees both insured and self-paying patients seeking assessment and treatment for chronic pain.

Dr Chogle graduated in India with an MBBS degree, followed by postgraduate training leading to an MD in Anaesthesia. She completed further higher specialist training in Cancer Pain Management.

She undertook further specialist training in the UK and was awarded a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Anaesthetics. Following her postgraduate training in the UK, she also completed advanced pain training in Northern Ireland.

She has been practising Chronic Pain Medicine at Antrim Area Hospital since 2011.

She specialises in the management of low back and neck pain and has a particular interest in widespread pain conditions such as fibromyalgia, which can be challenging to treat. Her specialist interests also include female pelvic pain and chronic post-surgical pain. She is trained in the use of Botox® injections for chronic migraine and myofascial pain.

She adopts a biopsychosocial approach to the assessment and management of chronic pain. She played a key role in developing the Pain Management Programme (PMP) within the Northern Health and Social Care Trust. She works closely with GPs, pharmacists, and multidisciplinary teams across the Health and Social Care (HSC) Trusts in Northern Ireland to promote evidence-based pain management and optimise patient care.
